National Parks India

India is a land of Varied Flora as well has a great cultural diversity

Spot Light

Wildlife in India has been more known for because of popular national parks of North and Central India like- Kanha, Bandhavgarh, Pench, Ranthambore and Corbett. In between these parks one can see the Big Five of The Indian Wildlife from North and Central India, namely, The Asiatic Elephant, The Gaur, The Leopard, The Royal Bengal Tiger The Sloth Bear. We, however, decided to provide a unique experience to our clients with a pioneer trip to North East India to see the other aspect of Indian Wildlife with emphasis on seeing the Big Five of North East India.

Quite recently we concluded a very succesful trip to North East India visiting Kaziranga, Manas and Sunderbans, there of the most important National Parks each with its unique Flora and Fauna. All the group members had their first ever experience of coming to this part of India and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the trip.

The whole trip was planned with an idea to see the Big Five of North East India's National Parks, The Asiatic Elephant, Great One Horned Rhinoceros, The Wild Buffalo, The Gaur, and last yet not the least The Royal Bengal Tiger. We were lucky enough to see 4 out of 5 but missed seeing a tiger. Anyway, something should be left for next time. The absence of tiger sighting was adequately compensated by the wonderful sightings everyone had of Golden Langurs, Capped Langurs, 2 species of Dolphins found in India - The Gangetic and the Irrawaddy, Couple of Salt Water Crocodiles (another first for many from the group), rare sightings of Indian Palm Civet both Male and a female, a fleeting glimpse of rare Bengal Florican, plus many other mammals and lots of birds including Great Hornbill and Wreathed Hornbill.
